Where timekeeping software or other time tracking devices are not available, use this one-page Timesheet template. It supports project resource management.

This Timesheet template is designed for project use where timekeeping software or other time tracking devices are not available for use. Our simple Timesheet template provides a uniform way to capture start and stop times, overtime hours, sick hours, holiday hours, vacation hours, and hourly rates. Generally, it is a weekly timesheet designed for use by one person. It becomes replicated to fit the project size and duration.

Specifically, this template:

  • begins with a section that captures relevant project information;
  • provides sections for documenting dates, times in and out, and the total number of regular hours;
  • captures overtime hours, sick hours, holiday hours, and vacation hours; and
  • provides sections to total hours by category, apply an hourly rate, and calculate the weekly total pay.

Who Creates the Timesheet?

Although the Project Manager is responsible for tracking the expenditure of labor, each member of the project team is responsible for tracking his or her time and remitting it to the Project Manager.

What Are the Inputs?

The inputs to the Timesheet include the time-tracking information provided by each project team member.
